I recently spent a month in Vietnam and I’ve been craving some of the more delicious foods I tasted there, specifically around the central region. I decided to try out Hoi An cafe because I heard they had ban bot loc (tapioca dumplings). They weren’t...even close to the same complexity of flavours I tasted in hue and Hoi An in real life, but they were SO good nonetheless. I also tried their cau lau, which was amazing. Again, not quite the same as the real deal from it’s birthplace in Hoi An, but It was very well prepared and the closest thing I’ve come to the real deal so far. I would 100% eat there again (but next time I’m gonna try the Mi Quang cause I can only assume it will be as delicious as everything else I tasted while there. So happy to have discovered this gem! (And I don’t even live close by! But I’ll make the commute for food this good for sure!)More
