My son drove from the Okanagan, arriving in time to watch the Raptor's last game and he was adamant: find a good sports bar with sound. I phoned around to a few bars on 17th and chose 1410. It was a fabulous evening from start...to finish. I have some mobility issues and am always concerned about entry stairs or finding the bathroom through a maze of dark tables, but there was none of that here. We sat at the bar w/ the TV right above us and the bartender gave us excellent service. We ate and drank and my son, who lives in Montreal and knows a thing or two about good bars, declared the Old-Fashioned cocktails to be excellent (he had 3). We had mains and appies for dinner and even though the Raptors lost, we had a wonderful evening out.
