came here after reading a review on Foodiequebec site. it was rated #1 poutine in quebec city. i ordered the onion+bacon version. i asked and the gravy is the same as the classic option so everything is the same other than the 2 extra toppings....result is tragic: -fries over cooked (3/10) -gravy tasted like canned or powder mix (2/10) -curds not squeaky at all(2/10) - "crispy onions" were undercooked and a soggy sloppy mess(1/10) - only good thing was the thick cut bacon (9/10) - service/attentiveness by the wait staff was good, but then i got ripped off on the bill so down to 0/10 it goes. when i got the bill - there was a +$4 "miscellaneous items" charge in addition to the poutine and drink that i ordered. clearly extra-special-treatment for a non-french-speaking customer.... verdict: worst poutine i had in months, and dishonest service.
