We visited this place because it was nearby and convenient at the time. We clearly need to make better choices when we're this hungry because, as we found out, being this hungry didn't make the food "the best thing we've ever eaten" in that moment....We visited the first time, and I ordered a BLT. The toast came out like a brick. Not burnt, but super crunchy, almost like it had sat a while before being buttered, and made up its mind that it would not be mistreated again in its life, and made itself impervious to bullets that would stop Superman. The bacon was pretty soft, despite seeing others' plates having nice, flat crunchy bacon. We asked if there was two kinds of bacon, and we were given a hard NO. On this visit we also decided we would never order juice here as well, as it was around $4 for a small child-size glass. On the next visit, we decided to share a couple different entrees so we could each have more variety. Being a BLT guy, I asked for soft toast, and again for crispy bacon, as it was a different waitress and we could again see crispy flat thick bacon on others' plates. They said ok, and I looked forward to my BLT being better. Who would expect it to go wrong, as I had made very sure with the waitress that it would be the way I asked for it, right? We also ordered the cheeseburger, and it was ok, nothing special though. The BLT though, however much they promised to make it the way we asked for, was completely wrong. It tasted like disappointment. Fast-forward to visit #3: I resigned myself to pad thai - they gotta make the asian food pretty well right? Half the noodles had no sauce, there was no lime on the side, but a lemon for the calamari (I was confused why these were paired), and I was told they didn't stock limes when I asked for it. All in all, another disappointing visit. Strike three, I'm done. Never again.
