Had not been into this restaurant in the years and stopped in for dinner. Ordered the haddock and chips and was so impressed with my meal that I returned the following weekend and brought my adult granddaughter. I had raved to her about how excellent...my meal had been the week previous however this time it was not our experience. With the same order the mail went from being a solid 9 or 10 to a 4. And both of our meals were a hot greasy mess. The only difference that I could see was when I was alone I ate on a Tuesday and the restaurant was very quiet and I had everyone’s undivided attention. When I took my granddaughter it was a Friday night and the place was phenomenally busy. I have not gone back for a third try and to be quite honest I’m not sure if I’ll bother.
