Sure, my first impression was confusing; an entrance foyer stacked with unused chairs, tablecloths, and other various restaurant supplies that it was difficult to find the other door into the restaurant proper. Once through, my next impression was that it was populated with many locals...of the Chinese diaspora... good sign. Pleasant surprise, 20% discount on weekdays before 11:00. Looking good. Third check mark: a good selection of Chinese tea types. None of the watery crap offered elsewhere. We had the popular Jasmine. Now the food: 1) Dumplings were all very large and tasty. Moist and juicy. A 2) Siu Lom Bao was not moist enough and very little juice inside. A slight disappointment. C+ 3) Chicken feet also a little too dry. Sauce coagulated as the dish cooled. C+ 4) Rice with chicken and Chinese mushroom was a big disappointment. Dry rice with a few steamed chicken pieces on top and two (count 'em) mushrooms put in for good measure. I could have done better at home. C- Service was excellent although they charged $2 extra for one of the condiments. Still, the final bill was very reasonable. All in all, a cheap brunch although the quality of the food was sometimes lacking.
