We are believers in supporting the businesses that reside within our community. Remember that this is a pizza joint at Nanaimo and broadway. We were shocked to receive this amount of $250.00 for our bill. Had a dinner at this restaurant after hop scotch at...the PNE because it was down the road from the PNE. What a disappointment. They charge us $40.00 for a T-bone steak . The bill was $250 for three T-bones and a bottle of wine (woodbridge Cab Sav) plus two appetizers. What a completely unreasonable price. Spoke to the owner and he suggested that this this was a fair and reasonable price. He compared the food to Gotham's or hy's steak house. I couldn't stop laughing. This is a pizza joint on the east side of town. Please check the market rate on anything before ordering. They took advantage of us and this was completely unfair. Please beware of their market price. They will take advantage of you, completely unreasonable for dining at a mediocre pizza restaurant. Owner suggest that they have been their for 15 years and they will be there for another 15 years (too arrogant). Please help him manage his expectations by not allowing him to take advantage of you regarding his pricing. Rather go downtown and receive some ambience and service for your dining experience. Complete abuse of spontaneous dining. That's what you get for being tipsy after Hopscotch. Please don't allow them to take advantage of you and your hard earned money. The food was mediocre at best. The calamari was super greasy and the steak was over done. Please reconsider your expectations of the quality and calibre of the food served at this restaurant. There are many other options that are much higher in quality, calibre of food and service compared to the price. We got taken advantage of but this will be the last time. Guaranteed!!!!!Our group has had dinner here for the last few years after Hopscotch. We decided that this will be the last time. Don't make the same mistake. Take a cab downtown and experience better value and ambience. That's the smart move!!!More
