I went with two friends and it was the first time there for 2 of us. The food was delicious and the service was good. We were the only customers there at the time. The owner was friendly and welcoming. When we were done eating...(and had been chatting for a while), she kindly and apologetically let us know that the restaurant was closing right away. We quickly got up to pay. We chatted with her and found out that she was late for her church service because she stayed open longer for us. We apologized and thanked her for staying open late for us and for the tasty food. I would definitely go back to Merkato!More
