We really enjoyed ourselves at tea today. It was a chilly afternoon yet we were thrilled to have tea outside on the winding veranda due to COVID restrictions. The tea sets were excellent. The sandwiches were plentiful, creative and scrumptious. Many times tea leaves something...to be desired, and you can leave hungry- but this tea tray considers that and feeds you, fills you with beautiful food, perfectly portioned and we ate every bit! We are tea lovers and have been everywhere in Victoria, Vancouver abs abroad for tea- I’ll place the Pendray Tea House right up there with The Empress or Bouchart Gardens teas. The establishment is taking covid seriously and you pay and order upon arrival which I didn’t mind at all. We were happy to pay the service charge and more because the service was wonderful, the staff happy and we’ll certainly be back soon.
