This was my 3rd personal restaurant dine-in experience, and 1st full family dine-in experience, since the local COVID restrictions on restaurants were lifted. This was definitely the best of the three so far. We decided on this place purely because it was the closest restaurant...available on OpenTable after finishing a sports activity nearby. On arrival, we were kindly greeted and seated outside. All menus were clearly disinfected before being provided to us. We ended up ordering the following: - Burrata - very good. Never had strawberries with my burrata before, but it was a nice addition, as it goes will with the good quality balsalmic and foccacia. - Seared Scallop Bucatini - OK. I like the scallops and the bucatini was done perfectly al dente, but wasn't a big fan of the somewhat chewy asparagus. - Mushroom Ravioli - Very good. I liked the pickled shimeji which added a nice touch of acid, and the crispy garlic chips - Kids Cheese Pizza - Good. Way bigger than my son could eat by himself, so I shared it with him. A good pizza. Dough might be a bit denser than liked, but that was a minor issue. At $11, it was really good value. Server was friendly, polite and attentive. Couldn't ask for anything more. Other than disinfection of the menus and the server wearing a mask, the service level felt exactly what you would expect before COVID. Overall, given that this was a first family sit-down restaurant meal in about 4 months, it was just a real nice treat. Good food, great service. I would definitely consider coming back.
