Stopped off for lunch at the Ottawa location as we had been here a couple of years before and wanted to see if it was still as good as we remember - both the meal and the service were excellent. My wife and I shared...foccacia fried calamari which on it's own was delicious. But it was served on a tomato sauce with was just as good. Also there was a fantastic roasted garlic aoli. The calamari was very tender. For main course we decided to order two pizzas as two caught our eye. One was Fun Bobby which was comprised of mushroom, chunks of pancetta, black olive, tomato sauce and mozzarella. To put it simply this pizza was great, tons of flavor and we would certain order it again. The other pizza we order was Duck Confit - apple butter barbeque duck, chunks of pancetta, caramelized onion and mozzarella finished with balsamic reduction drizzle. This one was equally as good as the other. For dessert we shared the tiramisu which was delicious and not heavy. My wife really raved about the ladyfingers. Along with the main course we had a Tombacco Biferno Rosso Riserva 2015. Excellent wine for the price which went great with the Fun Bobby - was also great for sipping after. Dylan, our server, was friendly and just attentive enough that we never sat waiting for anything. One thing that struck both of us was the variety of items on the menu. And it isn't the same old ingredients we see repeated at so many other restaurants. Since we now live closer I think we'll be coming here more often.
