May 25, 2019. Birthday weekend in Montreal! Friends were looking for a place to eat and I came across this restaurant on Trip Advisor and Yelp, so I suggested this place. It's about a 15 minute walk along Rue Ste Catherine from Royal Gouverneur Montréal....When we got there, there was only one other party there. It was about 7 p.m. We were concerned, at first. Nicholas was at the bar and he welcomed us and sat us down. We ordered the Antipasti and bruschetta appetizers and it was excellent. Very delicious. We ordered some wine and martinis. Our entree meals were out of this world. I ordered a special Lasagne dish. According to Nicholas, their pasta are made from scratch. Service was great. Nicholas is partner with Chef Serghei. For my birthday, we were served complimentary Grappa and Limoncello. Definitely will return to Abruzzo the next time I visit Montreal.
