Recently stopped at the Fat Franks booth at the Saint Albert Farmer's Market. On special was the Donair Dog. Being a lover of all things donair I had to to try it. I was given the option of sweet or tzatziki sauce and decided on...the sweet sauce. The dog was served with lettuce, tomato and plenty of sauce. The only thing missing was diced onion which I didn't think of adding until after I was done. It will never replace a true Donair however the dog was tasty and something I will look for again. My partner had the veggie dog and declared it to be the best in town. All the fixings are available for your own additions.
