We were in Victoria for one night, we drove around and spotted this restaurant, let's give it a try. They were not busy, in the restaurant but there was a steady stream of meal delivery folks almost continually coming through the door. So although they...were not busy with dine-in customers, it was obvious that this was a busy place. After we were seated our server brought us a pot of Chinese tea, something we really like but usually have to ask for it. Then we goy a chance to look at the menu - I have to say I have never seen such a selection of different dishes cooked in various styles, including "American". I never realized that there was an American-style Chinese menu. Sorry, I digress. Usually, we might pick something we are familiar with rather than branching out. However, I do have a favourite that is usually not on the menu - "Hot & Sour Soup", A word of caution, we were going to order a large size and our server told us that the small was designed for two. Good plan, the small soup was more than enough for the two of us. We know for experience that getting the restaurant's special entries, although maybe a bit more cost wise, it is still a better deal. I think that was true with Sun Wah - we really enjoyed the Sun Wah Fried Rice. There are combination dinners that appear very good. We would highly recommend that restaurant to anyone visiting Victoria and in need of a Chinese food fix. The attached Take-out menu doesn't do justice the regular menu availableMore
