My friend and I we're trying to go to Green Leaf Bistro in Douglas location and I called them around 7:15pm today asking if they can still accept customers since they are closing at 8pm. The guy who answered the phone told me they can...accept us but we need to be ready on ordering at 7:30pm. He was rude over the phone and telling me "you know what I mean??" after telling that we need to finish ordering by 7:30pm. I told him we are going to be there around 7:25pm. And keeps on insisting about the 7:30pm ordering time. I work in a restaurant for more than 13 years. And how the employee handled my call was completely unacceptable. I felt bad for the owner of this restaurant. This is not a good example of treating your guests. You should still accommodate them even if they come at 7:30pm. It won't take a guest more than 10minutes to decide what to order. I hope the owner will teach his employees how to deal with guests properly. Customer relations need to improve at this location. We love Green Leaf Restaurant but if this will keep on happening, we will just go somewhere else where we could accommodate us and treat us in a nice and friendly way.
