Being from Los Angeles which is also known as Tehrangeles due its large population of Iranians, I have been to lots of great Persian Restaurants, so five star does not come so easy.
Being from Los Angeles which is also known as Tehrangeles due its large population of Iranians, I have been to lots of great Persian Restaurants, so five star does not come so easy. I went to Amu Jan mid day, it was not crowded. The...name means Dear or Sweet Uncle, and endearing word in Farsi. The menu was adequate and the food was good. I enjoyed my first Persian mean in a month. I had the Zereshg Polo with Chicken. Zereshg is Barberrys which are not a common item in US markets. It is a cross between Cranberries (sourish and red) and tinier like raisins. It adds a great flavor to Basmati Rice served in good Persian Restaurants.
