With reviews for Ten Sushi all over the map, I didn't know what to expect when we tried lunch in early January at the end of the holiday week. But I was pleasantly surprised. The service wasn't perfect but, overall, quite attentive given that this...is an all-you-can eat restaurant. The iPad system for ordering was a little confusing at first but it did work well once we got the hang of it. And, though the orders arrived at an inconsistent rate, we were not particularly frustrated by this inconsistency. The food was quite satisfactory, although you shouldn't expect the same calibre of sushi you would get at an a la carte restaurant. It was also nice to be able to order some non-sushi items. For example, on offer were a few dim sum items like pork siu mai and har gow. We only found one dish inedible (a crab sushi) and the staff whisked it away on request. The ambience lacked warmth (but we were not uncomfortable) and, though the pricing for lunch wasn't unreasonable considering the food and service, it would have been better value for just a dollar or two less This restaurant is definitely worth a try and we will definitely go back. But, at the current pricing, we won't go often.
