The museum is located next to the Battlefield Park (the Plains of Abraham) and within 5 minutes walking distance from the Cartier Art District. Its new building (the Pierre Lassonde Pavilion) is an awesome architectural art work in itself, absolutely a jewel of contemporary design....The exhibitions of modern Canadian art and design are breathtaking. Also impressive is the collection of indigenous people art work. It's definitely a valuable visit to do while in Quebec City.
