I had read the reviews and thought "hmmm, I've had the real thing.
I had read the reviews and thought "hmmm, I've had the real thing. I wonder if it's really that good?" It was BETTER! The Silk Road offered the most wonderful journey through their menu... flavourful, creamy, just the right amount of spice! But it was...the Shakshuka I was most interested in - how authentic would it be? It was DELICIOUS! Aromatic spices, perfectly cooked eggs nestled in tender fragrant cooked tomatoes and garlic. Ahhh, memories of Turkey! If not for the hip Vancouver vibe in the restaurant, I could have been anywhere in the Middle East. Excellent service. Can't wait to return!More
