I heard about this place on social media, from other lovers of Vietnamese food. I heard they had street style and was excited to get it as I spent a few weeks in Vietnam last year & loved the food. I walked in on a...Sat. around 9pm it was packed but we managed to grab seats at the bar. It was my partner & I six year anniversary & we couldn't make resos as we didn't know what time he would finish work. Jeremy was our bartender and took great care of us. I went straight for the Betel leaf wrapped meatballs with lettuce & herbs we stacked with noodles (eat with your hands), pork skewers, shrimp skewers, and those dipping sauces! Anchovy pineapple sauce! They also have a fresh sheet, wicked cocktail menu, local beer choices or imports including Tiger & Saigon. I had a Saigon Sunrise: tequila, tamarind, ginger & lime juice - tasty tasty. We also did a shot for "dessert" called Bar Snacks: peanut butter & rum - totally unexpected! This is a pretty hip joint, music was on point - great playlist, next to Fortune Sound Club in Chinatown. Food was flavorful, staff friendly, we will be back!More
