Not at all as amazing as some people have experienced, but okay only. To me it has little to commend it as at all outstanding. In fact, after having had a decent donair there, I left and soon forgot it. The men that run Damascus are very friendly and work hard to please their customers, and their signage is attractive... After all, it's just a formerly-exotic sandwich place, and certainly not at the cuisine level, a term that used to mean that a true chef is nearby on a creative bent to turn people on... If you want more, feel free to check out Beirut Street Food on Fairmount Drive at Flint, or better still, Ali Baba's on 14th Street at 15 Avenue? Their donair is nicely flavoured and it WAS memorable. In fact, we will go back and check out the chicken shawarma. You might too. As for Damascus, whatever...
