We eat South Asian food quite often and had not previously tried Karakoram. But did so the other night with a few friends. COVID guidelines firmly in place (temperature taken on arrival). A large menu which was differently organized compared to other south Asian restaurants...but we found our favourites. Vegetarian biryani delicious as was the eggplant dish (I would call it eggplant bharta but I think that is Indian description). Mixed grill looked great and my wife's chicken kashmiri tasty..chicken moist and not overcooked. Restaurant if halal (muslim dietary guidelines) so no booze which is perhaps why they charge for bottled water,..hmm. Several family groups there but staff managed numbers easily (they must have a well staffed kitchen). Opens late afternoon so not open for lunch...I would like if they did. Takes reservations. Really good food!More
