A group of us went there for my birthday. Those who had steak (including myself) all said it was the best steak they've had in a long time...tender and tasty! The house red wine was very good and the apple crisp was excellent. One complaint...I do have (a complaint I have for MANY restaurants and fast food joints) is the tendency now to leave the peel on the french fries. There are often some pretty gross-looking bits at the end of the fries so most of the time I find myself pinching or cutting off the ends. I wish restaurants wouldn't be so cheap and start peeling their fries! Service was good but the server got really confused for the bills, had to re-do the bills 3-4 times and still ended up putting a drink on my wife's bill that wasn't hers. Also had to call the server over to order dessert for my grand-son after others had their dessert because he hadn't asked everyone if they wanted dessert.
