Poor poor service and lack of any understanding of customer service and appreciation. Came here before a show for a drink and a quick bite. Sat at the bar. Ordered 45 mins before had to leave. 35 minutes later food came. Place was not busy...at all. Asked the bartender where the food was and he stated the chef had a problem with the avocado. I seriously thought he was joking but no. Food came. I ordered a very simple quinoa and avocado salad (hence why avocado was required!) and it came with the avocado all sliced in tiny bits hidden under a mound of kale (not what I ordered). I told the bartender that the avocado wasn't ripe and he said something like "yeah, that's why the chef didn't want to put it out." Seriously? Instead of telling me and giving me the option of ordering something else, they put it out there and charged me for it. Bartender said otherwise food is' okay right? (um no). When I asked him whether he could do something about it on the bill he said I'd have to wait for the manager who would be maybe 20, 25, 30 minutes. He knew we had a show and had to leave. Left with a bad taste in my mouth. Thanks New Oxford. As for my sister's food, it was mediocre. Chicken sandwich. Fries were cold.
