Casual fine dining shouldn't mean leave the restaurant hungry! Server was very nice and certainly casual in demeanor, however we would appreciate a bit more attention to our needs. Given the meal portion size is extremly small a recommendation of an appetizer would have helped...us feel more satisfied, although the prices of the meals certainly had us believing we would have an ample dinner. Meal was over quickly and little attention given to our beverages. Water refills... only one and served n a very clouded decanter on the table. No one was asked if a second wine or beer was wanted nor was I offered a refill of my soda water. Waiter cleared the table and one guest asked him to return his wine glass so he could have a second wine. Dessert not offered. We ordered anyway! Food was just ok. Nothing special and aain VERY small portions. My cornish hen was a full order that consisted of half. Four bites at the most. Now given this is in such a beautiful location, I would suggest the owner try to eat at one of the other fine dining establishments to get a better idea of what Calgary offers. Match or exceed these places and you would be a WINNER of a great place to dine.
