I think this is just known as Japalo 3 now. The menu was totally Vietnamese with not a sushi in sight. Quite a nice atmosphere, typical of the smaller restaurants around West Broadway and McDonald. Quite inexpensive with a few vegetarian items . The vegetarian...banh mi was good. For those of us who pine after durian, there was a durian smoothie amongst a rather eclectic list. Typical Vietnamese coffee is offered. This is not gourmet innovative Vietnamese cuisine, but it is good basic Vietnamese food and is quite a treat to find on Vancouver's west side.
