I am from out of town and wanted Jamaican curry goat. I found this restaurant and drove there 20 minutes from our hotel. The dining room was closed and the woman who greeted us was not very friendly at all. It was as if our...presence was an inconvenience to her. I ignored that and ordered curry goat which came with gungu peas or what they called Congo peas and my husband ordered curry chicken also served with the same type of rice. There was no option to get white rice which I thought quite strange unless it was pre ordered. I also ordered the stamp and go/saltfish fritters. What a disappointment!! The stamp and go was just seasoned flour that was fried there wasn’t even a hint of salt fish. The curry goat lacked flavour and had chunks of onions slightly cooked throughout. The curry chicken was more of a disaster as it was precooked chicken breast that was sliced up and stirred into a coconut curry sauce. This was absolutely not a Jamaican dish. As a Jamaican familiar with authentic Jamaican food this restaurant is sorely lacking. If you’re looking for good Jamaican food this restaurant is not the place to go. This was a waste of time and money.
