Thank you for having this restaurant/market! What a slice of home. It is very expensive to import foods to make things taste just like you want it to. I therefore have no complaints about the price!! I had freshly fried plantain, peas and rice, and...oxtail. Wow!!!! What burst of flavor. Yes, I sucked my bones and licked my fingers between my ummmmms and ahhhhhs. My friend ate the beef patty and loved it. I tried it and it was perfect. Next time, I will have it with coco bread. The Ginger Beer was the best! It was Island Soda brand. The burn was sweet, just like back home. I plan on returning for a roti, to shop for some things like Shirley Biscuits, mauby, sorrel and much more. It felt like I travelled to the Caribbean. It was also wonderful to meet others there as I sat and ate. Listening to the accents and the laughter was beautiful. Please note that this place only seats at a bar. There were about 7 others around me and it was comfortable. This is what makes it so much like home...being with people!!! Try something new. Expand your tastebuds. Take your food to go if you have a big family and don’t rush... you won’t be disappointed! ????More
