Tonight the Mrs and I ventured out to the Pink Peppercorn. It was on our list of restaurants to try while visiting Vancouver. Let me tell you something…IT WAS THE BEST MEAL WE HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED IN OUT ENTIRE LIVES! We started things off with...a Quails Gate Merlot. Split a Caesar salad that needed nothing! It was perfect! We then enjoyed fresh mussels…HUGE! Never had such scrumptious mussels in a delectable wine/cream sauce. The Mrs had the Pepper Crusted Ahi Tuna with a pepper risotto and a lemon butter sauce. The tuna was perfectly done and melted in your mouth. I had what was the most delicious meal in my entire life! Hands Down! The Salmon Wellington. Fresh generous salmon fillet with fresh baby shrimp and a mushroom duxelle with a Pinot Noir sauce. We shared half a plate each with each other and unanimously agreed it was the best meal ever! We have lived and eaten all over the world and this was definitely at the top!
