I took my two young boys to Memphis Blues on Commercial drive. The restaurant was filling up, but we were seated right away. We opted for the Memphis Platter, which feeds 3 to 4 people. I ordered a drink from their cocktail menu, which was...very good. Our platter arrived shortly after. It included several cuts of meat, coleslaw, potato salad, beans and corn bread, which was the best part of the meal. The BBQ items were okay, but didn't WOW me. The coleslaw tasted a bit rancid, and the potato salad was sub par. While the service was friendly and very attentive, the food was average at best. I may come back again and try something different.
