You could tell you were not in "tourist town" here.
You could tell you were not in "tourist town" here. Like any pub/brewery- attractive inside and quite large. A local friend recommended it and came with us. He acted as translator as the waitress did not attempt to include us or try any English. Different...sort of feeling, not uncomfortable - but lacking the welcome vibe we felt most other places. Not busy on a Saturday afternoon. Food was fine. Burger was enormous. Poutine average. Good beer. Comfortable setting. Pricing about average, perhaps a bit less expensive than the old city.
