The concept is brilliant but when all four members of our group ended up sick, from gas pains and upset stomachs to strong reactions of throwing up and many trips to the washroom! We've tried to determine what was the common factor as we had...3 different types of broth. Very little meat and only one person ate the pork. The others had mostly vegetables (mushrooms? lettuce?) For all of us the reaction was almost immediate with one person spending the next day in bed with a severe upset stomach. As I said, I like the concept but the price is outrageous, especially for children. The cut-off for kids' prices is at 8 years old. And just to add insult to injury, the side dinning room that we sat in was very cold. The food was cooked. Although no one on staff mentioned there are lids for the soup pots, they are required to get the broth up to temperature. The staff is not overly forthcoming with helpful tips or guidelines. If one had never been to an Asian hot pot style restaurant before, you'd likely starve.
