This unpretentious restaurant is small, quiet, carefully decorated, and very different from another Commercial Drive eatery that has an confusingly similar name. The menu is varied and interesting, and as the owner explained, gradually developing to serve the demand for various dietary requirements, whether it...be gluten free, vegan, or other needs. I was impressed by this, because smaller establishments usually can't afford to take this approach. The food was well presented, nicely seasoned, hot and flavourful. Hot sauce and ketchup were provided, but I deferred to the chef's obvious skill and judgement. This is an eatery that has maintained a high standard, is too easily overlooked, and is well worth your visit.
