I heard good things about the first location in Richmond, so when this location opened up in Vancouver, I decided to give it a try. I'm guessing I went during a soft open, because there were 6-7 employees, most of them pretty slow and looked...to be in training. I was only one of 3 customers. I ordered the Couple's Combo with an extra order of yam fries to go, and took it home to eat. All the chicken (popcorn chicken, wings, tenders and pistol leg) were very similar. The meat tasted like it was marinated and was pretty tender. Skin got a little soggy, but that's somewhat expected when getting take out. Overall, they tasted pretty good. Regular fries and yam fries were pretty standard. What I can say is that for a Couple's Combo, for two people, the portion size is quite significant. In fact, we're a family of four, and we still had leftovers to eat the next day. Service was quite slow. My order took 20 minutes to prepare. One customer got angry because he only ordered one thing, and when it was bagged and ready-to-go the front counter person didn't think to check if it over and call for the customer. Bag probably sat there for about 5 minutes before the customer went up and asked if that was his, and when she realized it was, he just snapped it up and left. Parking in the plaza lot is very limited, but should be able to find street parking within a few blocks. Overall, not bad. Food tasted pretty good, and they were sizeable portions. I would consider going back. Just hope the speed and service get better.
