Not much going on around the Travelodge hotel although it obviously has its own restaurant (not open for lunch when here on a Friday). Nearest restaurant is this one, set out on its own on the corner of the hotel entrance. It’s a little scruffy...outside and some of the inside is too. No hand towels in the toilet for instance and the windows are filthy. Being hungry at lunchtime and nothing else around we gave it a try. The service was a little indifferent but one guy seemed on the ball and the order soon started to arrive....piecemeal over ten minutes. But here’s the rub...it was delicious! Grill it yourself and order as much as you want, I have to say it was genuinely good, especially since it was unexpected after first impressions. Worth a try.
