I've been to Cedar Cottage Neighbourhood Pub many times over the years, and it always delivers a good sports-pub experience. The service can be a bit slow during busy periods, which means when any game is on TV. They have many flat-screen TVs placed all...around the relatively large two-level seating area so everyone has a good angle for the Lions/Canucks/Olympics/NFL etc game. If a game isn't on, it's a good atmosphere for chatting and large groups can be accommodated. The outdoor seating area has no view, but is large. There's limited parking in the lot that also serves the off-sale upstairs. There's a reasonable selection of beer on tap and in bottles, they sever Strongbow Cider on tap (a selling point for me!), and the food is tasty and portions are large. The pool table and video quiz games are also nice touches in a pub. It's dark and cozy, and generally a welcoming environment. We have a few local options for pubs, yet this is the one we visit frequently.
