Our table for 6 was ready and in a nice location, but one of the chairs had a large pillar much too close behind it for anyone to sit comfortably. Easily resolved by moving the chair to the table end, but the staff really should...have figured out this little comedy ahead of time. Don't expect bread or any other type of complimentary snack - they don't do that. Bare table. Considering that pasta entrees are priced from $21-25 this seems odd. Even more so since they bake their own bread. Our server was a nice guy, just doing his job. But he came through in the crunch. Scaddabush does not have garlic bread as such. When I asked about this, our server offered toasted house-made bread (ie, crostini) on the side (no extra charge) which was perfectly done: crunchy & delicious. We didn't realize how long it would take for our mains to come otherwise we would have ordered appetizers. My lunch mates all reported their entrees to be very good: - Roasted Mushroom & Truffle Gnocchi - Sausage & Fennel Fettuccine - Mushroom & Truffle Fettuccine - Superfood Insalata - Goat Cheese & Beet Salad I unwisely chose the Spaghetti Carbonara, a soggy "soft egg" style recipe which I do not recommend. YES it's awesome that they have decaf espresso! But you have to ask for it - it's not listed on their menu. Decaf Americano was decent. If you like cream or sugar you must ask for it. It's possible our server simply forgot to offer or bring the normally expected extras.
