We ended up going for supper very late on our first night in QC, so we decided to just go to the restaurant in the hotel. The place was pretty dead, and seemed like they might be closing soon, but they gave us a warm...welcome. Our server struggled a little bit with speaking English, but he was sincere and funny about it. His charm was definately well received by the table. It was late and I did not want to have a big dinner before going to bed, so I just had a cheeseburger with fries and gravy. The waiter informed me they only had a black pepper gravy, which suited me just fine. The food was really good. Nothing fancy, but it was prepared well and the flavors were on point. I don't recall what the others at my table had, but I beleive we all had a good experience. The prices are a little high at this restaurant, but not for the type of food you are getting. Deer burgers, veal shank, beef tenderloin, seafood... It is pricey but probably a really good value. This location is a little off the beaten path, but if you are staying in the area you can't really go wrong if you eat here.
