We were in Toronto for an overnight stay and decided to meet our daughter and her friend for dinner. We picked Trattoria Mercatto to meet. We often stop here for lunch before the theatre in the area and find it very conveniently located. The food...has always been very good. We enjoyed our dinner. The food and service were excellent, as always. The next day, before our return home, we stopped again for lunch. Again, the food and service were excellent. Our server was Danny. He was friendly and helpful. Very pleasant. We enjoy dining here because of convenience and location. We come from London by train and stay in hotels in the immediate area. It works well as we come up from Union Station via The Path. This time, our hotel was right beside the restaurant. We have come here often over the years and hope to continue to do so. We have never been disappointed.
