We were on a mission to find a shop and were starving so we chose the first place we found and it was Cafe Lezard. What luck because it was outstanding and the only spoken sound was French. There were three of us and everyone...tried something different, steak tartar, spicy fish soup and steak fritte....portions were generous and delicious and arrived quickly. Both the steak and tartar were accompanied by mounds of mixed salad and a plentiful,paper cone of fries. We had treated ourselves to dessert as well, the dessert of the day was a soup bowl of floating island and a molten chocolate cake with a mound of whipped cream. We left very satisfied and ready to walk with more energy than I certainly thought possible. Service was very good considering the volume of people, the bathroom in the basement clean and you got to look into a clean kitchen with smiling staff. A wonderful experience.
