Went to Dine-out Vancouver with another couple. They wanted African food. I have not had much experience dining African but liked the sounds of ARIKE's Nigerian-inspired food. The entire meal was amazing! Everything is tapas style -- easy to share, which makes it easy to...try more of the menu. All dishes are made in-house, and our waiter was knowledgeable about everything on the menu. We shared a bottle of red wine. Not too much mark-up. Our favorite dish was the melt-in-your-mouth Habenero Corn Fritters. A bowl for only $5. Wow. Other stand-outs included the flatbread, the Akara onion rings and Cassava fries. Had a main of prawns -- nice. Topped off with the Milo Ice Cream. We want to return!More
