We have been going to various locations of Floyd's diner for a long time, the food is good, the prices are reasonable. Recently we were there and I ordered a latte. I took a couple drinks and felt somthing chunky in my mouth. I spit...it out and it was a dead black bug with lots of legs, either an ant or a fly?, it was not tiny. My brother looked horrified because he was drinking a latte as well. He called the server over and I gave him the bug, he gave a quick apology, tossed the bug on the floor and made me a new drink. We started looking around us and noticed that the place was quite dirty, the wide window sills were littered with dead bugs and debris. At the end we received our check and was charged for everything! I don't know about you but if I owned a restaurant and someone ordered a drink and ended up with a nasty black bug in their mouth, I would absolutely make sure not to charge them for it. I can't help but wonder what the kitchen is like, are there dead bugs laying around on the counters? Like there is on all the window sills in the dining room? HmmmMore
