It is unacceptable to require my name, address, billing information, credit card number (including expiry and CVC) just to make a reservation. And if you need to cancel within 24 hours (like if something comes up the morning of the reservation, which can happen.... Duh)...you are billed $25...per person. Come on! This is not the best restaurant in Canada. And in this day and age of credit card scams, etc it really is unacceptable to request this. I have been to world class restaurants all over North America that do not require a credit card deposit. . There are also many amazing restaurants in Victoria which do not request a deposit for a reservation. And I will happily eat there. I encourage others to do the same. . Shame on you Little Jumbo.
