I was looking for a quick bite to eat on Yelp, and this place showed up at the top of the list. Found a parking spot right in front, walked in, checked the small menu, and picked up some mild beef, curry beef and chicken...patties. Then went straight back to my vehicle, and sampled them all. First of all, I can't say I've had a lot of Jamaican patties before, so I don't really have a frame of reference on authenticity. But what I can say is they all came out piping hot and fresh. I really enjoyed the curry beef best - it was full of spice, flavor and still juicy. The chicken was OK, but paled compared to the beef ones. For $2.57 to $2.86 a piece I thought the filling-to-pastry ratio was really generous, making them a fantastic deal, as well as a quick meal. Counter service was friendly. Cash only, unless you spend more than $10, then they accept debit. No credit cards. Overall, a nice find. I would come back for more given the value. I'm surprised I haven't head of this place before finding it on Yelp!More
