Went here to meet a friend for lunch because she suggested it. I’d never been here beforehand. Prices are normal for this type of restaurant which serves Japanese food as well as Korean food. I had the tempura lunch combo which includes miso soup, salad,...California roll, & potato salad. The food is mediocre. It’s not the best but it’s also not the worst. Waitstaff run around with food carts to serve the food. We came at lunch time & the restaurant wasn’t even half full. Despite that service was a little slow. Only two servers. Some of the tables are cooking tables too. In my opinion if I’m going to pay to eat out I’d rather have someone else do the cooking. The decor in this place is strange. The walls are painted dark colours & some weird wave-like sculptures on the ceiling. The booths don’t have cushions for your back they put carpet instead. Washroom was clean but dated. I don’t think I would eat here again as I think My Sushi Restaurant across the street has better food even though their space is smaller.
