My husband and I decided to try a 'new' Indian place (new to us) on Whyte Avenue, instead of heading to our 'usual' place downtown. Y Not offers an 'odd' collection of food (I think they also serve hot dogs and wings) but their Nepalese/eastern...Indian offerings are great. The chili chicken momo (a first for us) were excellent....really well spiced, nicely cooked with green peppers. The lamb korma and the bhindi masala were really well done, nicely spiced; perhaps just a tad too much salt for our taste. They do a very brisk take-out business but the restaurant is nicely decorated/very pleasant and worth the sit-down visit. Naan and saffron rice also very good. Portion sizes are generous. was extremely friendly.
