Tried to reserve a table for two last week end. Unbeknownst to me it was Winterlicious received a call back from John who I believe was either the owner or manager. This man was probably the rudest person I have ever spoken too. When he...told me there was no table available and my husband and myself would have to sit at the bar, I politely declined and stated that I would make another reservation after Winterlicious was over. This man went on to tell me if I didn’t sit at the bar, then” your sh*t out of luck” Who speaks to a potential customer like that or anyone as a matter of fact. I then told him now I can see now why all the negative reviews on line. He then proceeded to ask me” then what the hell did you make the reservation for then!” I told him that my husband loves jazz but we will never give you our business! I think this interaction was a blessing in disguise, Alleycatz staff clearly have never heard of professionalism, courtesy or manners and with all the other jazz clubs in Toronto, I definitely will never go there,More
