My husband and I sat at the bar on a Friday around 615pm as the restaurant was packed and two empty tables had “reserved” signs on them. Reservations recommended! A handful of people came after us that had to wait or were turned away. This...is a small place! They had two skip the dishes type orders also. There were two servers and 1-2 people in the kitchen out of sight. We ordered 3 kinds of empanadas, two types of tacos and the poutine. We were absolutely stuffed. The poutine didn’t look awesome but it tasted good and there was lots of cheese. The gravy had a gritty texture and the breaded yucca fries were super filling. The food was piping hot and fresh. I liked the dip for the empanadas, it was cilantro lime maybe. I can’t find a detailed menu online. Our bill was around $50. I had to ask how long the food would be since we were on a timeline. We were there just over an hour and ate quickly. A great place to try gluten free Venezuelan food. Due to the heaviness of the food and grease, I am not in a rush to return. But we definitely left full!More
