This place is akin to a gastropub. The food is excellent, plentiful, priced reasonably, and presented well. The restaurant is low key, so you feel like you’re eating in a tavern. Service is prompt and friendly and it is clear this place is well supported...by locals. Not a huge selection of entrees and beers, but they have local favorites and nobody will be disappointed. We did the French onion soup, a meat pie, and a shepherds pie, all of which delivered just what we were looking for.
