Two immediate criteria for a group of eight when booking a restaurant: parking and sufficient lack of noise that will allow everyone to participate in conversation. But these follow, of course, the food. Pigor was more than satisfactory on all counts. It's a small menu...comprised of small plates, some hot, some cold. The cold side featured a fair amount of fish and the dorade that I ate was spectacular, which is something not usually said about raw fish. The Caesar salad with brussel sprouts was also remarkable as was the risotto with pork that I had. Everyone at the table was very happy with their meals, even two teenagers. Visually, the plates may appear a bit skimpy, especially by US standards, but they were fully satisfying. The wine list is rather pricey and features organic wines. The service was warm and the noise level was bearable. I might add that the menu descriptions are a bit dispiriting and do not do justice to the actual food. Happily there was no mousse in sight and no weird presentations.
